About the Role

The Procurement Engineer will support the manufacturing operations by developing procurement strategies, sourcing reliable suppliers, managing RFQs, and negotiating contracts. The role requires strong technical understanding, especially in manufacturing or metal fabrication, and excellent planning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Prepare, review, and manage RFQs, ensuring accurate bid evaluation and comparison.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Track and expedite material orders to ensure uninterrupted supply for production.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support cross-functional procurement needs.
